Classic Eggnog

Description: The perfect way to make the perfect drink

Ingredients:

2 cups of mlk

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

6 egg yolks

1/2 cup granulaed sugar

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup burbon (optional)

Directions:

1. Add the milk, cinnamon, and nutmeg into a medium sized sauce pan and brin g to a light simmer

2. in a stand mixer beat the yolks and sugar until it becomes light

3. Slowly add the milk mixture to the egg mixture while it is being mixed. You don't want to add it too fast or you will scramble the eggs

4. Add the cream and bourbon and mix

5. Refrigerate and serve with a sprinkle of nutmeg on top
