Sriracha Chicken Nachos

Description: These nachos are great for a family movie night or a nacho bar at your next party! Just remember baking is much different from cooking. In cooking it is okay to experiment to taste!

Ingredients for the Sriracha sauce:
1/4 cup sour cream
1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce
Directions for the Sriracha Sauce:
Mix the two ingredients and keep in the refrigerator until ready to serve
Ingredients for Homemade Salsa:
1 14 oz can of diced tomatoes
1 10 oz can of diced tomatoes with diced green chilies
1 tablespoon chopped garlic
1/2 onion
1 jalapeno with the seeds and membrane removed
1/2 teaspoon of honey
1/4 cup cilantro
1/4 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
the juice of one half of a lime
Directions for Homemade Salsa:
In a food processor add the onion, jalapeno, and garlic and blend
Next add both cans of the diced tomatoes, honey, and salt
Next add in the cilantro and lime to taste
Blend until it reaches the consistency you like
Refrigerate until ready to serve
Ingredients for the Homemade Nacho Cheese:
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons of flour
1 cup of milk
1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
salt to taste
chili powder to taste
Directions:
Create a rue with the flour in butter in a small sauce pan
Add the milk and wisk in the flour and butter
Next you add the cheese and mix until melted
Finally add the salt and chili powder to taste
Heat up before serving
Ingredients for the seasoned chicken:
1 package of ground chicken
1 teaspoon of paprika
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1 teaspoon of onion powder
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of pepper
Any of these can be reduced or raised to what you like when you are cooking
Directions:
In a large pan add the chicken, a little bit of olive oil and all of the seasonings listed above
Cook the chicken until no more pink is seen and until you like the taste
Heat up before serving
Now you can create your nachos! Serve with guacamole, black beans, or any other topping you like!
